CBRNE Ltd Irina Stănciugelu has participated at the consequence management field exercise jointly organised by the NATO Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC) and the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine on 21st – 25th September 2015 in Lviv – Ukraine. The opening ceremony was attended by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
The consequence management activities on the ground were based on a CBRNE disaster scenario.
As a NATO civil expert in risk and crisis communication for Civil Protection Group, Irina Stănciugelu was part of the Directing Staff (DISTAFF) of the exercise, and she was coordinating the simulated public information function and media play.
